Dorothy Wilson, Instructor
I teach with energy.
Dorothy grew up dancing in New Jersey. She started assistant teaching at her dance studio in high school and remained on faculty through college. She is a graduate of Somerset County’s Gifted and Talented Honors Dance Program and earned her B.A. at Boston University where she trained, performed with and served on the executive board of BU’s Dance Theatre Group, performed in BU on Broadway’s production of West Side Story, and choreographed the musical Fame. After college, Dorothy went on to pursue a career in law. In 2017, Dorothy relocated from New York City to Colorado and started her family. The best part about living in Littleton has been finding her dance home and family at LCDC. Sharing the gift of movement and expression through dance is her passion and greatest joy.
